Ci vogliono vendere sempre le stesse canzoni…non solo 1 volta, ma possibilmente almeno 2, 3…

Dopo aver sfornato le raccolte gemelle (The Best of 1980-1990 e The Best of 1990-2000), dopo aver atteso 1 solo nuovo album, ecco che ritornano per Natale 2006 con un nuovo Best Of, dal titolo 18Singles… titolo che ben sottolinea quanto la loro musica sia commerciale (assenti dalla tracklist sono i singoli da Pop, Zooropa e Achtung Baby! – fatta eccezione per One, forse ci vorranno vendere la versione in cui duetta con Mary J Blige!!!).

Best Of (Volume. 1)

Dopo una doppia raccolta di 10 anni fa, ritornano con questo best of, che mette in risalto quanto siano evoluti lungo i 25 anni di vita depressa…Infatti lo stacco tra Personal Jesus e Just Can’t Get Enough è quasi incolmabile… Comunque anche loro se la potevano risparmiare sta raccolta!!!

Non sembra essere una raccolta vera e propria, perché in effetti mancano dei singoli di grande successo, invece sono state inserite canzoni più particolari, a testimonianza del fatto che, obbligati a sfornare un Best Of, hanno tentato di renderlo il più rispettabile possibile, e non sputtanato!
